Pomegranate Rosemary Fizz | Cocktail Recipe

Granatapfel-Rosmarin Fizz | Cocktail Rezept

Are you looking for a way to revive your relationship? Americans have an answer: Date Night! This means quality time with your partner, where you put effort into your looks, woo each other, chat, and strengthen your connection. But nobody said it has to stay just chatting!

To liven things up a bit, serve this Pomegranate Rosemary Fizz after dinner. It looks impressive, tastes tangy and spicy, and has a nice side effect: Pomegranate and rosemary are plants of lust and love, which can warm you up and whet your appetite for more. Incidentally, this Pomegranate Rosemary Fizz cocktail recipe is also perfect for breaking the ice on a first date.

This is what you need:

  • 50 ml water

  • 35 g sugar

  • 1 sprig of rosemary

  • 40 ml pomegranate juice

  • 4 tbsp lemon juice

  • 80 ml gin

  • 200 ml soda or mineral water

  • Crushed ice

  • Optional: 1 tbsp pomegranate seeds

It's that easy:

  1. Heat water in a pot and dissolve sugar in it, then let it simmer slightly.

  2. Let the rosemary steep in the warm syrup for about 30 minutes, remove the sprig and strain the syrup through a sieve if necessary.

  3. Thoroughly mix pomegranate juice, lemon juice, gin, syrup, and crushed ice in a shaker. Strain into a glass and top with soda.

  4. Garnish with a few pomegranate seeds.
