What material is the FLSK water bottle made of?

Our drinking bottles are made from high-quality type 304 stainless steel . It is also known as 18/8 stainless steel, which indicates that 18% chromium and 8% nickel were used in its production. This combination offers maximum rust and corrosion protection.

What drinks can I put in my FLSK water bottle?

You can fill it with practically anything you like. Still water, sparkling water, juice, wine spritzer, tea, beer or other favorite drinks.

What happens with carbonated drinks?

They stay sparkling. FLSK drinking bottles are absolutely leak-proof, even for carbonated drinks.

Can the FLSK drinking bottle be put in the dishwasher?

In principle, you can put your FLSK products in the dishwasher. However, depending on the washing program and heat, the powder coating of your bottle may suffer in the long term. So that you can enjoy your FLSK drinking bottle for as long as possible, we recommend cleaning it by hand with warm water and our cleaning pearls. This will keep it hygienically clean and looking as good as new.

Our stainless – all natural line has no coating at all and is therefore definitely dishwasher-safe.

What is the best way to clean the FLSK drinking bottle?

The best way to do this is by hand with warm water and our cleaning pearls. As our products are made of high-quality stainless steel, your drinking bottle can be cleaned easily and without leaving any residue and will remain as beautiful as on the first day. My FLSK water bottle is leaking, what can I do?

In most cases, the problem can be solved by replacing the sealing ring. If your bottle is still leaking or you no longer have a sealing ring, please contact us at hallo@flsk.de. We will find a solution.

My FLSK drinking bottle no longer keeps warm, what can I do?

Why is there no buddy (fabric bag) included with the stainless – all natural drinking bottle?

The buddy is designed to protect the paintwork of the drinking bottle during long transport routes. Since our products in the stainless - all natural series do not have a coating, we have decided to no longer include the buddy for sustainability reasons in order to conserve resources. If you still want one, please send us an email to hallo@flsk.de .

Why is the 350 ml drinking bottle not available in all colors?

Our 350 ml drinking bottle has been a loyal companion for a long time. Small, handy and always ready for a little adventure. But unfortunately it's time to say goodbye. This model is leaving our range. Therefore, only individual colors and remaining stocks are still available. If you still want one, be quick and grab it before it's completely gone.

My FLSK water bottle smells, what can I do?

Have you ever cleaned or changed the sealing ring? Bacteria tend to collect under it, which can lead to unpleasant smells. We therefore recommend removing the sealing ring from time to time and cleaning it separately and replacing it two to four times a year, depending on use. If you need new sealing rings, please send us an email to hallo@flsk.de .

Is the inside of the FLSK water bottle coated?

No, your FLSK doesn't need any inner coating. It is made of pure, high-quality stainless steel - making it particularly hygienic, BPA-free and neutral in taste and odor. So the taste of your drink always stays just as it should be.

Does the lid of the FLSK drinking bottle fit on the drinking bottle with cup?

No. It has a larger opening than the drinking bottle so that you can easily fill the drinking bottle with cup on the go and outdoors. However, you can find replacement lids for the drinking bottle with cup in our online store if you need a new one.

Does the lid of the FLSK coffee mug fit on the cup of the 2-in-1 drinking bottle?

Yes, you can easily close the cup of the 2-in-1 drinking bottle with the lid of the FLSK coffee cup.

How long will my drink stay hot in the mug if I close it with the coffee mug lid?

The FLSK drinking bottle with cup allows you to enjoy hot drinks from a cup. The cup is double-walled, but not vacuum-insulated. The advantage: The drinking cup heats up a little so that you can warm your hands on it. However, the insulation performance is not comparable to the FLSK coffee cup, which keeps your drinks hot for hours.

What material is the lid of the FLSK coffee mug made of?

For the lid and flip lid we chose Tritan, or more precisely Tritan copolyester. The seals are made of silicone.

I can't unscrew the lid, what can I do?

Place the coffee cup upside down in boiling water for about 20 - 30 minutes and then try to open it with the flip lid open. If that doesn't work, please send us an email to hallo@flsk.de .

I have trouble closing my fliplid, is that normal?

Especially at the beginning, the Fliplid may be a little harder to close. However, you will always feel a little more resistance, as this is a sign that the Fliplid is in the right place and your coffee cup is securely closed.

Can the FLSK coffee mug be put in the dishwasher?

In principle, you can put your coffee mug in the dishwasher. However, depending on the washing program and heat, the powder coating of your coffee mug may suffer in the long term. To ensure that you can enjoy your mug for as long as possible, we recommend cleaning it by hand with warm water and a little washing-up liquid. This will keep it hygienically clean and looking as good as new. You can put the lid of the mug in the dishwasher without hesitation, just like our stainless - all natural line. This does not require any coating and is therefore definitely dishwasher-safe.

What is the best way to clean the FLSK coffee mug?

What is the difference between the FLSK 500 ml coffee mug and the tumbler?

The FLSK coffee mug 500 ml and the tumbler are the same product, just with different product names.

Can I also pour cold drinks into the FLSK coffee mug?

Whether you prefer a hot coffee or a cold brew from your coffee mug is entirely up to you.

Why is the stainless steel inside my coffee mug discolored?

Stainless steel can discolor slightly under certain circumstances - this is completely normal and not a quality defect. Hot liquids in particular cause so-called thermal discoloration. These are color changes on the stainless steel surface, for example in the form of bluish or shimmering streaks. These do not affect the function or hygiene of your product.

Is the sports kit also available for the 750 ml and 1000 ml water bottle?

Unfortunately, the sports kit is not yet available for the 750 ml and 1000 ml drinking bottle. However, we are planning to make this available soon. To be the first to know when it is available, please subscribe to our newsletter by email or WhatsApp.

Is the sports lid carbon dioxide resistant?

Our sports lid is not 100% designed for carbonated drinks. Unfortunately, the pressure generated by the carbon dioxide can cause some liquid to leak out. That's why we recommend using the sports lid primarily for still drinks.

Where can I enter my discount code?

You can add the discount code in the checkout. Click on "Continue to checkout" when you have put your products in the shopping cart. You can view the order summary here and enter your code in the "Discount code" field. Then click on "Apply" or the button with the arrow.

How can I return my orders?

You have the right to cancel your order within fourteen days without giving any reason. The day on which your package was delivered to you or a third party is decisive. Simply write us a short email with your cancellation request and your order number to hallo@flsk.de . We will cover the return costs for returns within Germany. For returns outside of Germany, you must cover the return costs yourself. Please note that goods can only be cancelled if they are unused and unengraved.

Where is my package?

As soon as your package has been handed over for delivery, you will receive an email with a link to track your shipment. If you have not yet received this link, we are most likely currently processing your order in our logistics center.

Lifetime Warranty

What does the FLSK Lifetime Guarantee cover?

The FLSK Lifetime Warranty covers the vacuum performance, leak tightness and all other core functions of the stainless steel body, including the lids and seals of all FLSK stainless steel products. Wear and tear and other damage not due to defects in materials, workmanship or design are excluded.

For which products does the FLSK Lifetime Guarantee apply?

The guarantee applies exclusively to FLSK coffee mugs, FLSK drinking bottles and FLSK drinking bottles with cups that were newly purchased or received and are in the possession of the end customer. The guarantee also covers parts that are not made entirely of stainless steel, such as plastic lids or seals. In order to claim the guarantee, the product must be registered within three months of purchase or receipt (see next FAQ).

Who can claim the FLSK Lifetime Guarantee?

The guarantee is available to all customers who have purchased or received their product and have registered it on the website www.flsk.de/garantie no later than three months after purchase or receipt . This also includes customers who received the product as a gift, provided that the product was registered for their own private use.

How can I register my product for the Lifetime Guarantee?

Register your warranty product within 3 months of purchase or receipt on the website www.flsk.de/garantie . To register, we need truthful information from you about your name, address, email address, date of purchase or receipt, location and the lot number that is on the bottom of the product.

What happens if my warranty product is defective?

If your product has a warranty defect, please contact us directly, but no later than one month after discovering the defect, using the contact form on our website or in writing. To process your request, we need your name, address, purchase or receipt details and a description of the defect.

What happens after a warranty claim is made?

FLSK will examine the warranty claim and, if accepted, will remedy the defect by repair, replacement or refund of the purchase price. If production of the warranty product is discontinued, an equivalent product can be supplied.

Are the rights under the guarantee transferable?

No, the rights under the guarantee are neither inheritable nor transferable. They expire upon loss of ownership of the guaranteed product or death of the registered end customer.

Are there situations in which the guarantee does not apply?

Yes, claims under the guarantee are excluded in the event of damage caused by improper handling, repair attempts without coordination with FLSK, use contrary to the care instructions, intentional damage, the use of non-FLSK spare parts, or due to forces beyond our control.

What happens if provisions of the guarantee are invalid?

Should a provision of the guarantee be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. A provision shall be deemed to have been agreed which comes closest to the original purpose.

Can I register multiple items at the same time?

Yes, you can register all of your purchased products under a guarantee code. We can see this in the system.

Under what working conditions are FLSK products manufactured?

We make sure that our production is as fair as possible. We have a long-standing partnership with our producers. Personal contact is particularly important to us. In addition to regular on-site visits, we have a 5-person FLSK team in Asia. In addition, external audits of the Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI) are carried out annually at all our direct suppliers.

How do the FLSK products get to Germany?

FLSK products are transported from Asia to Germany in the most environmentally friendly way possible. There are basically four means of transportation to choose from: Airplane, truck, ship and train. As water and rail logistics have the lowest environmental impact, we transport half of our products by ship and half by train. For water transportation, we work together with the GoodShipping Initiative. By refueling with biofuel based on used cooking oil, we reduce CO2 emissions to zero.

Are FLSK products BPA and BPS free?

All our products are BPA and BPS free .

Do the products contain nickel?

All stainless steel contains nickel, as this prevents rusting. The stainless steel 304 (18/8) we use contains 8% nickel. As far as we know, nickel cannot be released through liquids, as our body only reacts to nickel through skin contact. But of course we are not specialists and would therefore ask you, with this information in hand, to contact your GP if you have a nickel allergy.

Can FLSK products be recycled?

Our products are designed to bring you joy for many years. If the last days are numbered, take your daily companion to the recycling center. Please separate your product according to materials. This increases the chance that the majority can be recycled. Because: In metal waste, the stainless steel components can be melted down and used for new products.
